TV Repair Questions
Quick answers to what Valley homeowners ask us most about TV repair.
How much does TV repair usually cost?
It depends on the size, the brand, and the part that failed. Many repairs, like a power board or backlight, cost much less than a comparable new set. We diagnose the real problem first and give you a price before any work begins.
Is it worth repairing my TV, or should I replace it?
For many TVs, yes, especially larger or higher end sets where a single board or backlight has failed. For smaller budget TVs, replacement is sometimes the better value. We'll give you an honest answer either way.
What types of TVs do you repair?
We repair most flat screen TVs, including LED, LCD, OLED, QLED, and plasma, from brands like Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, TCL, and Hisense.
My TV turns on but the screen is black. Can that be fixed?
Often, yes. A black screen with sound usually points to a backlight or power problem rather than the whole panel, and that is frequently repairable. We'll test it and let you know.
Do you repair cracked TV screens?
A cracked or physically broken panel usually isn't worth repairing, because the replacement panel often costs as much as a new TV. We'll confirm whether the panel is the problem before you spend anything.
