Washer Repair Questions

Quick answers to what Valley homeowners ask us most about washing machine repair.

How much does washer repair usually cost?

It depends on the brand and the part that failed. A lot of washer problems, like a worn pump or a bad lid switch, cost much less than a new machine. We diagnose the real cause first and give you a clear price before we start.

Is it worth repairing my washing machine, or should I replace it?

Many washers are well worth repairing, especially if the unit is otherwise solid. We'll be honest with you. If the cost of the repair is close to the price of a comparable new machine, we'll say so.

What should I check before calling for washer repair?

Check that the water supply valves are fully open, the drain hose isn't kinked, and the load isn't badly off balance. Make sure the lid or door is closing all the way. If it still won't run or drain, give us a call.

Do you repair both top load and front load washers?

Yes. We repair both top load and front load washers from all major brands, including high efficiency models.

My washer is leaking. Is that something you can fix?

Yes. Washer leaks usually come from a worn hose, pump, or door seal. We'll find where the water is coming from and stop it.
